IntroductionLike many Christians, Matt grew up attending church. When he began high school, Matt started asking questions about his faith and realized he did not understand what Christianity was about or what it taught. After high school, Matt started college at Georgia Tech but was drawn more to understanding Christianity than he was to engineering. He spent a lot of time trying to understand what he believed, and when he got ready to graduate, he realized that the only thing that he wanted to do with his life was to study and teach people about God. The next semester Matt started seminary at Luther Rice University, and it was there he discovered apologetics. From class and from reading books like Reasonable Faith by William Lane Craig, Matt learned that disciplines like science, philosophy, and history do not oppose Christianity but rather lend support to it. Matt wants to not only share with Christians that it is possible to give good reasons for faith in Christianity but to teach them how to do it. It is his hope that through his ministry, others will gain a deeper interest in their faith and become better equipped to accomplish what God wants them to do with their lives.
