Introduction | I am a single gay man, retired IBMer, former math teacher, aspiring writer and train enthusiast. I contribute monthly to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the Matthew Shepard Foundation, Oregon United for Marriage and four Oregon College Savings Plan Accounts (529s). I am a member of Friends of Hendricks Park, The Thoreau Society, Osher Life Long Learning Institute (OLLI) and Willamette Writers. I am currently writing three books: A Memoir: Before Memories Fail, A Novel: Wandering Hearts, and A Collection of Poems: Tugs of a Heart. My volunteer work includes Occupy Medical, Egan Warming Center and The Behavioral Health Unit at Sacred Heart Hospital. |
