| Favorite Books | Primarily "Alchimiste" is a symbolic novel by Paulo Coelho first published in 1988, telling the story of the young Spanish shepherd Santiago on his journey to realize his more than once-repeated dream about a treasure buried in the pyramids of Egypt. Second place was "The Red Book" by the doctor and psychotherapist Carl Gustav Young, a Swiss-nationality doctor who had written the manuscript of the book between 1914 and 1930, and the conditions of its writing were complex as Young deliberately launched his fantasies and began exploring areas in the self so that he could find general psychological principles through dramatic dialogues he had in his imagination. |
