| Introduction | I live in the North East of England. I completed a City & Guilds qualification in Embroidery, and then went on to complete a BA (Hons) in Textiles & Surface Design graduating in the summer of 2005. I love to experiment with different media & techniques and use or combine traditional methods of drawing, painting, sketching, printing and embroidery together with digital technology. My principal body of work is wall art, but I also design and produce bags, accessories, greetings cards and fabric samples for the fashion and interiors market. I exhibit in local galleries as a solo artist and also as a member of a group of textile artists called Vervey. |
