| Introduction | Hey y'all! I'm Britt. I'm from Atlanta in the great peach state of Georgia (hence the whole "Peachy Teaching" thing!) I'm a first grade teacher. Believe it or not, this is my TENTH year in 1st grade! Where has the time gone?!?! Before teaching in Atlanta, I taught in Montgomery County, MD and down in Palm Beach, FL. My favorite thing about teaching? Every day is different... and that's exciting (okay, and maybe sometimes a little bit scary sometimes) I love watching my students grow and learn... and hopefully have some fun along the way! I believe that teaching should engage all students and that teachers need a toolbox full of skills and strategies to meet the diverse needs of their students. I'm constantly inspired by the amazing teachers that I work with and that I've discovered through blogging. I truly believe that some of the most talented people on Earth are teachers, and collaboration makes us stronger and improves the learning of students. |
