| Introduction | I spent the first half of my life in my hometown near Barcelona, and I became an architect with very itchy feet. So, after living and working in Dublin, Tel Aviv and now London, I discovered the fascinating world of picture books, and someone must have put a spell on me (a good one) that has given me the opportunity to do a MA of Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, and made me win the Macmillan Prize for children's book illustration in 2011 for my first picture book "The Crocodile who didn't like water", which will be published in 2013. |
