| Favorite Books | His book 'the East Highland Way' was shortlisted for Outdoor Book of the Year, and Kevin himself was shortlisted for outdoor Personality of the Year, in the TGO (The Great Oudoors Magazine) Awards 2012. Kevin Langan is an experienced mountaineer and long distance walker. He developed the East Highland Way in the winter of 2007 and continues to improve and promote the route with the aim of establishing it as a leading UK distance route. With his involvement in large scale commercial planning projects coupled with his experience in developing award-winning outdoor products, the EHW presented Langan with an opportunity to combine his passions. Recently Kevin has embarked on a project to build 100 wilderness shleters. He hopes to explore a variety of building types and to find 'wildness' in surprising places. |
