| Introduction | I am a 21-year-old art student, born and bred in Southern Utah. I have been creating art of all kinds since before I was able to do anything else. Some of my earliest memories are of sculpting a miniature sled-dog team from a rainbow of modeling clay, and trying over and over to get Simba's mane just right with an orange crayon. With constant support from my amazing family and my incredible boyfriend, John, I feel like my art has come a huge distance from my childhood creations. In many ways, though, I've stuck to my roots. I have always loved making art that was somehow related to animals. I can't remember a time when I didn't have an animal in my life. My current batch includes four cats, two dogs, a fish and a horse. Without them, my art would likely be pretty boring. Well. Except the fish. He doesn't do much for me. |
