| Introduction | It is appointed for man once to die and then the judgement. We all have this appointment. Are you prepared? Think about it. So.. if there is judgement, what will we be judged for? The Bible talks about sin. The Bible says that "sin is transgession of the law" that means to break the law. Another question ... What are the laws? God's Law, The ten commandments. Do you know them? Have you kept them? Have you told lies?, have you used the name of God as a swear word?, Have you stolen? Have you honored your parents? Have you commited adultery? Keep in mind that Jesus said that anyone who looks at a woman with lust has allready commited adultery with her in his heart. Honestly answer these questions and you will see that you are guilty before God. In fact the Bible says that "by the works of the law will no man be justified" This means that you and I are guilty of breaking God's law and according to the law we will be condemned to Hell. It is hopeless for us. Or is it? There is good news! Romans 3 "but now a righteousness apart from the law has been made known to which the law and the prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in JESUS CHRIST to all who beleive. |
