| Introduction | Zacki Murphy is a native of Hillsborough NC and a graduate of the University of North Carolina. Sampling many world cuisines on location as a highly successful Ford model, her passion for fresh regional food was rekindled as a food stylist for Martha Stewart and owner of Zacki's PBQ in New York City. Returning to NC in 2005, Zacki opened Zacki's Catering Creations, a distinctive regional catering and creative food presentation company. Zacki’s Catering Creations does caterings for church socials, family reunions, company pig pickings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations and milestone anniversary events. Its clients range from individuals who are too busy to cook to companies who desire creative dining options for business meetings and corporate retreats. All meals feature fresh local produce and seasonal flowers and vegetables from Zacki's Secret Garden in Hillsborough. Many signature recipes and food stylings have been featured in best-selling cookbooks, national food magazines and on network television. Originality and variety are always essential ingredients in Zacki's Catering Creations. |
