| Introduction | Adhi Perwira started his career in 2003 as a photographer assistant at Yogyakarta. By the year of 2004, he got his first achievement as 3rd winner of Yogyakarta Tourism Photography Contest held by Department of Tourism and Culture of Yogyakarta & Journalism Freelance Photographer’s Association. After that he became freelance photo stringer for AFP (Agence France Presse) at Yogyakarta. He started freelance for AP (Associated Press) at Yogyakarta in 2005. On 2006 he freelance for Liga Tabloid and GO Tabloid. They were 2 Indonesian local sports tabloid based in Jakarta. Around 2007 he obtained his open water divers certification and started course on underwater photography. By the year of 2010 he became a freelance underwater expedition photographer for Underwater Heritage Program Directorate under The Culture and Tourism Ministry’s Directorate General of History and Archaeology. He became an expedition crew at Spirit Majapahit Ship Expedition, represented young Indonesian. He selected from hundreds nominees. The Ship was sailed from Jakarta to Philippines.
