| Introduction | I believe these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. I believe they who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. I believe in Bill of Rights, particularly the First Amendment, and so will do my best to stand written vigil against the darkness of corruption and the tyranny of evil men. |
