Introduction	I am a field biologist working in Sri Lanka. My main research areas are macrofauna diversity, ecology, biogeography and conservation biology. I have been involved in many field research projects, biodiversity assessments and environmental impact assessment programs. My current work is mainly focused on the study of taxonomy, biogeography, ecology and conservation of Sri Lankan odonata and avifauna.
