About me

Interests	This site is my first foray into bloging. It forms (hopefully) the place where I will record my musings in regard of my MA Fine Arts Digital work - but as I haven't even enrolled for that yet we will have to wait and see., Where I have been:, However much I try to move away from the fact, the reality always draws me back to it: my life was largely defined at 10.10pm on November 14 1978 when I became paralysed. I’ve achieved a lot since then: a degree, (with another just about completed) a career, family and children. But these achievements have required my repressing lots of feelings about my impairment and I need somewhere to explore and express my innermost thoughts: photography offers this in a way no other medium can., I've just completed working towards a BA (Hons) in Photography with the Open College of Arts - link here: http://www.oca-uk.com/ That journey has been transformative and I want to continue on it. However photography has the referent and thus offers me the chance to make a particular statement through applying a whole raft of photographic techniques to articulate a particular discourse about my experience. The fact that it’s a photo means there is an objective truth at its centre., Meaning in life is what we all search for….
