About me

Location	Phoenix, Arizona, United States
Introduction	I am a product of the Kansas public schools. I went on to Kansas State University, but enjoyed the social life too much and finished at Bethany College with a BA in History and Political Science. I got my Teaching Certificate from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. I have taught Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grades. I was a Special Education teacher for Kindergarten through 4th grade. I taught 8th grade U.S. HIstory in Bernalillo, NM where a third of my students were from the Pueblos. Others traced their roots directly back to the Spanish explorers who first settled that part of the country 400 years ago. It was an interesting experience. In addition, I have taught Special Education in the high school level along with English. I am currently the Librarian/Media Specialist at Campo Bello Elementary. This is an urban school in the Paradise Valley USD in Phoenix, Arizona. I love my dogs and getting outside with them when it isn't scorching hot. I have a partner of 14 years and regular, boring, but wonderful life.
