| Introduction | Many friends and colleagues have suggested that I open a restaurant. And the truth is, I'd love to have a small bistro where the jazz plays all day and the customers choose from an inspired menu of delectable dishes. But let's face it, restaurants fail more than they succeed, and they require a lot of work and long hours for very little financial reward. Better, then, to keep hosting great dinners, brunches, and parties, creating new dishes and techniques as I go. So why not share the results in a kind of virtual bistro, where I keep my own hours, and nobody has to pay to try the cuisine?! |
