| Introduction | Hi everyone who is reading this blog and Welcome! As you will gather from the title, this blog is concerned with the creation and development of knots that work with braid.With your help, comments, and photos of great captures you have made trialing one of the knots advocated here, whether by me or you, it is my aim to popularize some different patterns of knot sufficiently that they take their rightful place on websites such as NetKnots.com - which I have found most useful. Lastly, don't be surprised if I use the word 'recipe' from time to time such that you think you may have accessed a cookery blog by mistake. It's simply that I think cooking and knot tying - particularly with braid - share a number of similarities that will liven up your visit and, hopefully, encourage you to try out some new(ish) knot patterns whilst avoiding some of the pitfalls at the same time.
