Introduction	Holds an MFA in fiction from the University of South Florida. On her way down the path of becoming a writer with nothing but an embroidered cardigan and a ride on the back of an obliging swallow.
Favorite movies	Mirrormask, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, Advent Children, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Any old cartoon or live-action retelling of a fairy tale.
Favorite music	Owl City (and anything else Adam Young), The Hush Sound, Lenka, Sondre Lerche, Amy Kuney, The Postmarks, The Honey Trees, Jim Dooley, etc.
Favorite books	Too many to count. Books with flying pigs, mermaids who smile with shark teeth, characters with heads stuffed with dreams, and whimsical worlds. Tragic endings need not apply. But in all honesty, I'm an English major and I'll read anything. :) Favorite Authors/Poets: Sarah Teasdale, Dorothy Parker, Mervyn Peake, C.H. Lewis, George MacDonald, Tanith Lee, Tamora Pierce, Roald Dahl,Charles De Lint, Gail Carson Levine, Francesca Lia Block, Garth Nix and generally anyone from the Romantic Period and Imagist Movement.
