| Introduction | Vada Dunford is the founder and current business owner of Attune Piano Services. She is a traveling piano technician tuning up and fixing the pianos in the Pacific Northwest. Grateful for hands-on experience in a unique technical trade while learning all aspects of starting and maintaining a successful business. Supported and guided over the last twelve years by associations with the Small Business Administration, the Piano Technicians Guild and various mentorship opportunities within the industry. Originally from Alaska; her first five years as a piano technician was spent traveling and working around The Last Frontier. Scratching her need for adventure while combining her first two loves of the arts and outdoor recreation. From above the Arctic Circle to Kodiak Island and the unrivaled beauty of Southeast Alaska. She continues to enjoy life as much as possible exploring different places, listening to live music, reading a good book, getting hands dirty in the garden and trying different recipes in her new home, the state of Washington, with her favorite buddy - her incredibly enlightened dog named Maslow. |
