Introduction What sort of person is an Allison Gray? Long winded. I'll get that out of the way now. I will just go on and on and on... If you're up for it, dive in. Otherwise, you may want to skim my posts as I am a fan of adjectives and adverbs and all things shiny and distracting. Getting down to business: I'm married to an engineer who decided to also become a doctor (because, why not?). We are living, one term at a time, on a wee sandy rock of a country known as Grenada, at the southern tip of the Caribbean, while he attends medical school at St. George's University. I am a writer, photographer, painter, closet math-lover, and secretly mildly crazy. All that craziness aside, I'm also sort of earthy and pragmatic. And bundle all of that up: voila! Bo Ballison!
Interests The directions for the "Interests" box says to "Separate each interest with a comma." I might use semicolons because I tend to get off topic and I don't want to confuse anyone. I'm also going to try my diggity-darnedest to list interests, not hobbies. So if this list includes scuba diving, please don't assume it's my hobby. I've never actually gone scuba diving, but it does interest me. I find the countless forms of organized religion very interesting (my use of the word religion does not imply only christianity); everything that makes up our cosmos interests me, from theory to substance; actually, science, from chemistry to ecology, is intriguing; travelling is an interest that I hope to mature into a hobby, because too many people have the means to explore the world and choose to stagnate instead; I'm interested in scuba diving, but mainly because of my interest in the fascinating underwater ecosystems (FYI David Attenborough is one of my heroes); I find the mechanics of medicine interesting, both pharmaceutical medicine and legitimate holistic remedies (no to be confused with curing a migraine by boiling fishbones under a full moon while nakedly dancing the Macarena). I should stop now because the list is never ending. Suffice it to say I was blessed with a healthy amount of curiosity.
