| Introduction | Hi, I am Sharon. An Aussie that has been living in Europe for the past 14 years. My Dutch hubby and I live in Belgium with our 3 cats, shetland pony, and chickens. And I have to say, I do love living here! This blog is to share my adventures and experiences with family and friends. I will also share my views on a range of topics, give tips, and just general musings. The title of this blog comes from the final words of Australian Bushranger Ned Kelly as he was about to hung on 11 November 1880. Yes, I am a Kellyphile (fan of Ned Kelly). His final words were...."Such is life." |
| Interests | My main interests is playing in Paint Shop Pro. I love to create tags. I also like travelling, photography, science fiction, film and theater, games and puzzles, helping animals, my pets, history and hanging out on facebook. |
| Favorite movies | Too many to mention! But I guess if I have to choose, then the list would definitely include Armageddon, Con Air, You've Got Mail,Dirty Dancing, The Full Monty, the Die Hard series, and anything with Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Bruce Willis, or Nicolas Cage. |
| Favorite music | I like all types of music and I mean all. But my favourite artists and bands include Billy Idol, David Bowie, Foreigner, ACDC, Andrea Bocelli, John Denver, Monkees, and many more. |
| Favorite books | Again, I have a wide variety of tastes and my favourite books are Robbery Under Arms by Rolf Bolderwood, 20,000 Leagues under the Sea by Jules Verne, The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough, Kane and Abel by Jeffrey Archer, One Crowded Hour the biography of Neil Davis' life, several Agatha Christie novels, and many others of note. |
