Introduction Louis Sitsofe Hodey is a trained Economist at the University of Ghana where he obtained a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics with Statistics. Louis currently works as a Principal Research Assistant at the Measurement, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) Unit of the Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSER) at the University of Ghana. Prior to his current appointment, he worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Economics of the same University for two years. Louis has a wide range of research experience spanning, survey interviews, field supervision, research design, data analysis and the reporting of survey results. His research activities were predominantly in Ghana and also in Mali recently. Louis’ research interest spans trade and development, economics of education, impact evaluations, and rural household livelihood strategies. He possesses an insatiable desire for making an indelible impact on human lives through cutting–edge teaching and research in Economics and its related sciences. His hallmark is that of a relentless pursuit of excellence in every chosen endeavour.
