| Introduction | I am a woman in her 50s, trying not to be consumed with getting older. I raised 2 boys with my husband of 25 years; both out of high school, one quit college to work full time, and one just started college locally. My hopes for them have always been for happiness, success in doing what they love or at least using God-given talents for good, and that they have a good moral background. I’ve been writing since high school, consider myself a writer, not as of yet published, except in professional (law librarian) publications or local booster group’s semi-regular periodical. I would love to write some novels, but as of now am going to work on finishing a few short stories while I explore my “voice” as a writer. Am active in local nonprofits and hope to get more involved. I’m a Christian who has been blessed with 2 wonderful congregations in the past, but now am stuck trying to capture a passion for a local church that can’t compete with those experiences. I do daily devotionals and pray regularly, and would like to get into meditation and yoga |

Something with recycling, perhaps doing research on how to recycle more types of plastic and other materials, like Styrofoam. And contribute to education and advocacy about recycling in the local community.
