| Introduction | Me alcohol and baclofen. My name is Chris Rivers, I have been using baclofen since the beginning of April 2009 since discussing my alcoholism with my Dr. I had been an alcoholic for around 16 years, during those 16 years I have tried practically everything to beat my alcoholism. In March 2009 after yet another episode in casualty my loving partner mentioned to me about a possible cure for alcohol addiction called baclofen that she had read an article on. I immediately started to research this information online and I read Dr. Olivier Ameisen autobiography on the subject. It hasn’t all been easy but almost 6 months later I am still not drinking and more importantly I do not have any cravings. This is my unbiased personal account of how I overcome a 16 year addiction using baclofen. |
