About me

Introduction	Hello and welcome to my blog! I am currently a student at Messiah University, studying Adventure Education and Biblical & Religious Studies. I am passionate about the integration of the Church, Adventure Education, and justice. My vision is to utilize the power of wilderness adventure as a tool for discipleship and spiritual formation for groups and individuals, while working to promote justice and restoration in my communities and the world. This blog is intended to keep family and friends updated on my adventures. I am spending this academic year abroad - Jordan in the fall and Uganda in the spring. My past blog series chronicle my summer experiences in Chiapas, Mexico and New Zealand, as well as my gap year. During summer 2018, I traveled to Chiapas, Mexico for nine weeks to help facilitate mission trips. During summer 2019, I served with an organization called Scripture Union New Zealand. During my 2020-2021 gap year, I participated in a program called Mission Year and interned with Yellow Breeches Adventures. I hope you enjoy my blog!
