Introduction	e-mail: urbanvillage1@yahoo.com I have enjoyed visiting and walking about many beautiful towns and villages throughout the world. I have painted them, studied them and as an architect, thought about what made them special. Join me as we discover their secrets and learn to apply them at home in our own projects. Born in New York city and growing up in South Africa, I have always sought to develop all my talents. I hold a degree in architecture, am an award-winning designer and head a team of building professionals who are implementing the design concepts I discuss here in the $100MM Festival Urban Village in Fort Myers and Gateway Urban Village in Naples, Florida. As an musician and composer, I have produced five compact discs of my work including my latest cd entitled "The Shepherd King - The Musical." My mother was an interior decorater, flower arranger and garden designer and I was exposed to the influences of her artist friends from an early age. My contemporary post-impressionistic style was developed through years of appreciation of the work of such masters as Van Gogh, Gaugin and Monet.
