| Interests | I have always been interested in viewing stories from two different perspectives that of the narrator and the listener. In my paintings I transform information that I have experienced myself. I elaborate it through other means placing other faces or heroes and portraying them in a different setting. Thus I am trying to turn the material of a story into something more amusing and interesting and to create a whole new atmosphere in the visual image. This transformation is based on my personal understanding of the world around me as well as my sense of humour and positive outlook. By transforming the information I am looking to convey a new sense of reality to the audience. |
