| Introduction | I earn a living as a translator and social media and communications consultant, but what I really like, apart from politics and international relations, is listening to music, live or recorded: whatever, from baroque and classical to Jaga Jazzist and Skalpel, with CPE Bach and EST in between. I even listen to Cool and Hard Bop, Joss Stone and Christina Aguilera: What a voice! Wasted on pop.
Moved away from NW London (Dollis Hill, bigup to Dego) years ago and now live in Barcelona. The selector list only gives me the nearest option as either 'Madrid' in Spain or 'Andorra', but my country is Catalonia - Catalan is spoken in Eastern Spain: Catalonia and Valencia; the Balearics: Mallorca, Menorca and Eivissa (Ibiza); Southern France (Pyrénées-Orientales department); and a tiny location in Italy: l'Alguer (Alghero) in Sardinia; plus Catalan is the official language in Andorra. |
