| Introduction | I got dance training under Shri Narender Sharma and joined Bhoomika Creative Dance Center in 1981. Later in 1989 ,became the Ballet Master of the troupe. Also learned Mayurbhanj Chhau and American Dance (Modern Dance) from Bharat Sharma. Assisted Shri Narender Sharma in Choreographing "Inauguration performance of IX Asian Games" in 1982. Conducted the opening ceremony of "APNAUTSAV",The South Central Cultural Zone. National Youth Award Winning function in 1989-90-91. For children conducted workshops with SAHMAT & various schools. 1990. I received my Phd in 2008 on Folk and Tribal dances and instruments of Himachal Pradesh. I have started "UDAY" festival of Indian Contemporary Dance with help of MINISTRY OF CULTURE since 2012 and it is held every year. |
