| Introduction | The Desert Rose grew up loving horses and riding with her cousins although she never owned a horse of her own. At 35 her loving husband fullfilled her childhood dream of joining up with her fist horse, Major Special,barn name George. A Major Bonannza Son,George graced our lives for almost 9 years. Not ready to replace George but needing transition time, a little neglected, skinny, 2year old gelding named Jesse was leased. The Desert Rose told this baby not to call her mom....because he was not going to be the "one" to fill up the jagged hole George's death left in her heart. However this baby was a an old soul and it was not long before the greeting of a nicker...that grew to a loud whinny broke his way in to her broken heart. You join them 6 years later as they scout for new trails to blaze! |
