| Introduction | I started teaching in New York in the 80's. I moved to California and taught HS for a few years and bought my first computer, a Mac LC. I then moved back to my home state of Pennsylvania and taught there and earned my Masters in Instructional Technology. I have used graphing calculators and computers as a regular instructional tool. I worked for Pearson for a few years in AZ creating Middle and High School courses until laid off in 2008. I went back to teaching Math for Dysart Unified School District ever since. My passion for helping the next generation find their path has not waned in all of my years. I truly believe that every child has gifts and it is my job an educator to help them find and nurture those talents. |
