| Introduction | My name is Karen Davies, I am 50 years old and I have been painting in oils since I was 15. In 2003 I completed a HND in Fine Art at Reading College of Art and Design (now TVU), which allowed me to explore other mediums such as etching, ceramics, photography and screen printing. I prefer to work in oils, and like being able to see the brush strokes in a painting, because I think this makes the painting more powerful and enhances the composition. |
