Introduction	This blog was designed to share our son's journey - living with a congenital heart defect. Braden was born on August 17, 2006, and was diagnosed with HLHS two days later. After 2 open heart surgeries within three months of age, Braden thrived and marveled the doctors throughout his little life. On the late evening of March 16, 2009, Braden's heart went into a fatal arrhythmia. He earned his angel wings on March 17th. This blog now marks the journey of survival - living with the devastating loss of our hero, our son, our precious B.
