| Introduction | Hi! I'm Mari Bailey, full-time artist, crafter, and freelance writer. My first painting to be accepted into a show was a watercolor of a brown dog standing next to a tree. I was in the first grade. I began writing poetry soon after, and although my life has taken a lot of twists and turns since I left Hilo, Hawaii and have now settled in Berkeley, CA, I'm attempting to make a career of the creative life with some bit of success.
