| Introduction | I have been enticed & inspired by a friend to participate in this journey. We are well into 2009, so my photo blog will be a yearlong one – still 1 photo a day for 365 days but just not 2009. I considered the idea of a theme a day (which I love & was very tempted to do) but what initially encouraged me to begin my own photo blog was the spontaneous, beautiful & somewhat mundane photos of a friend, her family and their daily life. The insights of her & her family that she allows us "warmed the cockles of my heart" I only hope that my photo diary will provide the same to someone as well. (Warm the cockles of one's heart : idiomatic - To provide happiness, to bring a deeply-felt contentment). |
