| Introduction | is a unique and effective collaboration of the Washtenaw County Trial Court (Juvenile Division) and the Friends of CASA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our goal is to provide every child in foster care a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer. CASA volunteers are sworn officers of the court who attend court proceedings and recommend to the judges how to best help a child removed from his/her home due to neglect and/or abuse.
