Introduction	Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity — the boundless Daemon Sultan Azathoth, Lord of All Things, the monstrous nuclear chaos beyond angled space at the center of the multiverse whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes. I've been vacationing here in Leng for the last century or so - being the center of all reality gets stressful (and would it kill those accursed flute players to learn a new tune?) and so you have to get away from it all sometimes.
