| Introduction | If you're reading this you probably know who I am already. On the off chance you don't, I'm a 22-year old studying Chinese, keeping this blog mostly so family and friends know I haven't fallen off the edge of the world. I'm a graduate of UW-Madison and now at Asia University. Feel free to comment or email! I spent two summers in Tianjin in mainland China learning Chinese, and now I'm in Taiwan. It's neato. The title means: "The (People's) Republic of China is Glorious!" in reference to the two Chinas. The url is a reference to my home time zone, which is the Midwest. The domain gmt-6.blogspot.com was taken, and I'm a dork who knows enough about UTC to tell you that it was a Franco-English compromise between Coordinated Universal Time and Temps Universel Coordonné. |
