Living within close proximity to Washington DC, she has covered many, many, protest rallies as our lawmakers continue to make her head spin. Laurie was also one of the first volunteers to sign on to help pass the same sex-marriage bill in her adopted state of Maryland. She lives in Baltimore City with her husband and a plethora of cats.
