| Interests | My name is Mabel Otero, I am an ELT educator and life-long learner widely experienced in designing and developing face to face and online English Courses and Seminars for Specific Purposes, English as a Foreign Language and Human Resources Consultancy. I have graduated at UCAECE as Licenciada en Enseñanza del Idioma Inglés formerly graduated at INSTITUTO DE TECNOLOGIA ORT as a Superior English Professor. I have also developed Postgraduate Specializations in “Multilingual Schools” at INSTITUTO SUPERIOR DE LENGUAS VIVAS Dr. Juan Ramón Fernández GCBA, “E-learning” at THE BRITISH COUNCIL and “Teaching material designing for ELT - English Language Teaching” at GCBA. I have been teaching English since 1999 at the TRAINING DEPARTMENTdependent on the MINISTRY OF ECONOMY being in charge of the design and development of English Language Training contents and courses, together with English for Specific Purposes Workshops, focusing on specific language for Legal English, Information Technology, Multimedia, Organizational Communication, Business and English for Executives. I have also been working in the Civil Service for several years most of them devoted to Human Resources Consultancy. I have taught all levels of formal education from preschool to superior level in addition to private sector company training for executives, employees, currently delivering English for Specific Purposes Courses in the Banking Sector. In my free time, I love sharing creative activities with my family and friends, watching movies, designing, singing, dancing, walking and gardening. |
