| Introduction | I am a 43 yr old shipyard worker with a general intrest in nature with birds being my main focus. I concentrate on Nest Recording taking part in the BTO's Nest Record Scheme. 2010 was my first year as a nest recorder.My local patch is Stithians Reservoir where i run a scheme of 40 boxes. I also carry out WeBS counts of Stithians and Pendarves Lake, monitor a local breeding seabird colony and look for Rookeries. I'm currently undergoing training to become a ringer of pulli but this may take some time. |
