| Introduction | I am always asked how long I have been designing cakes. You might say my first cake was on Easter 1986, I was actually decorating this simple cake when I went into labor with my first daughter. And I mean simple, different colors of icing with a star tip on a small sheet cake. But after two more children and several years, I came across a find that changed my cake decorating career. In a small thrift store I found a box full of decorating tips and Wilton year books. I took the first two Wilton classes. I learned the first basic flowers - roses. At this point I was asked to make my Grandparents 50th Anniversary cake. After 300 roses, I was hooked - that was 1994. |
