| Introduction | My name is Ashley and I am currently a Sophomore here at SUNY Cortland. I am a Physical Education major with a concentration in Adaptive Physical education. Ever since I was 5 years old I have been involved in a variety of team sports such as soccer, softball, field hockey, basketball, lacrosse and even ice hockey. At Cortland I am continuing my athletic career, as a member of the varsity field hockey team. My first job when I was 15 years old, I became a swim instructor at an indoor pool. I taught kids ranging from a few months to early teens. I also taught some students with disabilities. It was from this job experience where I knew I wanted to become a physical education teacher. |
