| Introduction | Hi! My name is Geana and I am a cellist. I have been around the cello since three years of age (my brother used to play the cello an I would play on his cello as often as I could - I was obsessed with the cello). At the age of eight, my parents decided it was time for me to take lessons. I am now 17, a cellist in the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, studying under a cellist in the Philadelphia Orchestra, and preparing for conservatory auditions. |
| Favorite music | Well, I have to say that Beethoven is my favorite composer due to his incredible life story. I must admit my least favorite music is baroque and early music, because I fail to appreciate the simplicity (and use of harpsichord) in the music. |
