| Introduction | I earned my Ph.D. from Shandong University in 1995 and have been working there sine then. In 2004, I was appointed as professor of aesthetics. From August 2006 to August 2007, I was a visiting scholar of Harvard-Yenching Institute. My current research interests are in environmental aesthetics, ecological aesthetics and the history of Chinese aesthetics. My publications range from articles on today’s ecological aesthetics, ecocriticism and urban culture to books on the history of Chinese aesthetics, literary theory and literature. |
