| Introduction | I hope to inspire others to live better lives. I can get overwhelmed about the small stuff and have to keep trusting God. I am unashamed to profess faith in Jesus Christ. I've made lots of mistakes but I know that I'm saved by the grace of God. The reasons I like to write are to encourage friends and let out some creative steam! I do my best as an imperfect person on a wacky planet. My wife, Rosanna and I moved to Wisconsin 5 years ago. I was an actor in Los Angeles, CA, worked in radio, and managed restaurants. I acted on General Hospital, did several other small roles on TV shows, commercials and some modeling. I found my life lacking quality, except for close friends, so we moved to a small town in the great Midwest. It's safe, easier to afford, slower paced, you get the picture. Life is funny, challenging, good, tough; it's a gift. Sometimes I'm unhappy but I try to stay joyful. I don't base my outlook on circumstances OR other people's success. I want as few regrets as possible when I reach the other side, and some days I long for HEAVEN more than others. |
| Interests | Other than taking life a day at a time and laughing with my wife, Rosanna, I enjoy getting together with FRIENDS. I get energized around people. At times I get lonely but that's part of living on earth. Society seems to want to condition you to be discontent, to want more, or at least something OTHER than what you already have in yoiur life. Music is an outlet for me. And SPORTS, more watching than participating. The Green Bay Packers rule! CHURCH - Transparent relationships and a sense of COMMUNITY are very important to me. I love to TRAVEL and have been all over these great United States. |
| Favorite movies | I love a good movie and appreciate the art and entertainment value as much as anyone else...BUT, Hollywood isn't looking out for your best interest, $$$Money is number 1 to them. Plus, so often they're pushing an agenda or seeing how much junk they can put in a film, hoping to desensitize the American public even more! I enjoy great acting and quality films, yet the Oscars snub the best ones time after time. These are meaningless awards shows. To some, if it doesn't contain hyper-progressive ideas, moral controversy, anti-government, nudity, drugs, homosexuality, profanity, excessive violence, (exceptions: Braveheart, Passion of the Christ, Schlindler's List, etc.) then it doesn't get as much promotion and recognition! This is CRAP and you KNOW what I'm talking about! They couldn't even tell the true story about Titanic without glorifying sex outside marriage. PLEASE don't support the wrong movies - the only thing that will get thru to Hollywood is numbers/$$ at the Box Office. Wanna make a difference? Only go to good films. | Favorite music | I could list dozens of great artists! Growing up - Boston, Earth, Wind & Fire, Kansas, Styx, Paul Mc Cartney, Bon Jovi, America Bob Seger, Stevie Wonder, Doobie Brothers. Christian: Audio Adrenaline, Rich Mullins, Dave Crowder, Downhere, Newsboys, Mercy Me, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Matt Redman, Toby Mac, Stellar Kart, Third Day, Switchfoot. In my opinion, Christian music is the best - it doesn't pollute my mind, but I grew up on what we now call "Classic Rock". I like the oldies when I'm in the mood, instrumental worship or smooth jazz at times, classical on occasion - but you can't beat the purpose and focus of Christian music...and I don't mean those who try and write catchy commercial songs and make money off of Jesus. You can tell when it's real. Oh, and I absolutely love CHRISTMAS music!! |
| Favorite books | When you need comfort, peace, wisdom or strength, NO BOOK HAS ENCOURAGED ME MORE THAN THE BIBLE. Don't believe the lie that it's too hard to understand. If you can read then you can "get it". No excuses, just read it for yourself! In the 80's I loved self-help books. These days I get angry and enjoy political books! Currently reading Power To The People by Laura Ingraham. Next up: Ten Big Lies About America by Michael Medved |
