| Introduction | I am a writer who would like to write for a living but realize that at this time I can't. By day I work for an old friend at his insurance agency and evenings and weekends are devoted to building my 1951 Ford F1 "rat rod" with my buddy Andy and building a movie with my crack production staff. I am a Marine Corps combat veteran who happens to love the United States and am grateful for the opportunities that my country offers us everyday. A couple other things that you should know about me: I am sick of perverted movies that come out of Hollywood, generally speaking. I can't stand wanton and useless profanity in movies. I don't feel comfortable watching these kinds of movies with my wife or kids etc... Lenny Bruce was shocking, bad language in a movie is tedious at best. Have you ever gone to a movie matinee and a porn flick shows up in the middle of it. If violence, sex or language is needed in the story, there are a billion creative ways to include it without assaulting the senses of the audience. We, as filmmakers, need to be creative, not lazy, respectful of the art and the audience. |
