| Introduction | I am a married mom of 2. My daughter is 8 (Adelaide) and my son is 6 (Andrew). I have just completed my first year in the world of “Stay at-home-Mommyville” – VERY interesting! I used to teach high school full time. I was the primary bread winner while my husband was going to school so I was unable to stay home while my children were babies (sadly….I honestly did not want to). I absolutely LOVE teaching and one day I might go back to it, but for now I am on another journey….motherhood. Some wonder why, when most people are going back to work because their kids are in school, I am staying home. I mean….who am I staying home for…both of my kids are in school?? BUT, I beg to differ. In my defense, I have always wanted to stay home now, while my kids are in the early years of school so I am available to them and to their school. I do a lot of volunteer work at the school and I spend a lot of time figuring out how to be a better mom, wife, daughter, etc… |
