| Introduction | A sometime MBA widow and more often than not wannabe tai tai, J and I arrived in Singapore at the end of 2006. Whereas he has thrown himself into his studies (very commendable) in between the occasional spot of weekend traveling (extremely good), I have been procrastinating about getting a real job (very bad) and using the ole’ “employment pass”, or lack of, as an excuse (somewhat naughty). It hasn’t been all play though. To occupy my time, in between my job hunt, I have turned my hand to organizing a few activities for the Wonderful WAGs, which has meant field work, advice from my people in the know and hours of scouring the internet. Countless pages of guide books and the grilling of several innocent Singaporeans later, I’ve come across a few ideas of how to while away the time in Singapore and thought it would be good to share them. So here goes… |
