Introduction	I was born in Cleveland, Ohio USA and raised in Hawaii. My MA from University of Hawaii, Manoa is in Teaching English as a Second Language. My PhD from Bowling Green State University, in the Ohio State system, USA is in English, Concentration in Rhetoric/Composition Studies. I've spent most of the last 30 years in Asia and the Pacific, teaching in Taiwan, Guam, Saipan, PR China and now Singapore. Currently teaching Writing at Singapore Management University.
